Fell and Dale Cars owner John White had to have suspension leg repairs carried out in Newcastle last week. John said 'It did well to last so long - well in excess of 100k miles and often on very rough tracks too"
The work was carried out by a team of mechanics lead by Mr Gosh. Access to the suspension joint and replacement is a standard process, but Mr Gosh and his team use robotic arms to ensure cutting out the faulty component and the refit are as neat as possible. After the repairs Mr Gosh commented that the suspension leg was extremely badly worn and expressed surprise that it had not failed completely.
One week later the job seems to have been a success, though John commented that ongoing problems with fuel blockages and exhaust gases remain and that he couldn't half do with a beer!
